2009 Budget Battle to Stop the Drastic Education Cuts
Tell the Governor and our state representatives not to balance the
budget on the
backs of our students and our schools!
All UESF members are encouraged to send a letter, email, fax, or phone
call to Governor Schwarzenegger and our State legislators, demanding
that they fully fund our schools.
Letters are always best when written from a personal perspective,
detailing the effect the cuts would have on your students, your
schools, and your jobs.

THIRD PERIOD READING/ELECTIVE CLASS
X. GALGANO: AT LAST UBC/ADM MEETING WE STATED WE WERE
GOING TO REVIEW THE REAING CLASS/ELECTIVE CLASS CHANGES AN THAT THEY
WOULD BE PUT INTO PLACE BY THE BEGININNING OF THE SEMESTER. THEN WE
CAME BACK THIS WEEK AN STUDENTS WERE BEING MOVED BEFORE THE GRADING
PERIOD EVEN ENDED AND MAYHEM WAS THE RESULT. I KNOW WE CANNOT GO BACK
AND REDO THIS BUT WE NEE TO MAKE SURE THIS FOLLOWS ARE AGREEMENTS AN
THE SITE PLAN. THE SITE PLAN STATES GRADE LEVEL TEAMS WILL DETERMINE
THESE CHANGES AND USE FORMATIVE AND SUMMATIVE TST RESULTS AND GRADES TO
DETERMINE THESE CHANGES. THIS NEEDS TO BE FOLLOWED.
